Bug Description

It will be useful if the number of lines on list view become a parameter of general settings.
80 lines by default may not be a enought for all users, and change this value all the the time improductive (2 times wait loading).
it would be nice if all the values were customizable (80, 200, 500...) and keeping "Unlimited" as last possible value.

Hello,

You just need to do double click on numbers and it displays drop-down list for (200,500,2000,Unlimited) . So, We already have this facility. For more reference please check my video.

Thank you.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to change the default, as the views always revert to the default of 80 on every load, forcing the user to repeatedly express the non-default preference by double-clicking and selecting another choice each time.

Sorry tch-openerp, this is not invalid. Can you imagine having to change the default number of rows for a given view 50 times a day, every day. This is really a painful user experience.

Hello,

There is an option *limit* which you can always set on your action. By default it's set to 80. You can change that value.

Naresh

Hi,

Activate the developer mode by clicking on your * login(Drop Down) ->About OpenERP * then go to view where you need to set the limit. On top left you will have a drop-down where in you select the option to *Edit Action* (Note: you need to have the Admin access rights to see this option.) and on that you will the limit field. Set your desired limit.

Hi,

Ok, it's working ! But it 's interresting if you have 2 or 3 view to customize.
Seriously, the administrator cannot customize all the view of openerp, one by one. It's just crazy.
Second, when you double click on numbers to display drop-down list, the *limit* value you have defined is not present.

Regards.
