How to sync only "important" contacts to mobile?

It is not possible to restrict the quantity of partner that should be synced to the mobile. Actually it seems, that all contacts from OpenERP are synced to the mobile what is not needed. It should be possible to sync only "important" contacts from OpenERP to the mobile. Otherwise you maybe have thousands of contacts on the mobile you never use....

Right now we are syncing all partners filtered by user's company_id.
We will provide different options for contact synchronization.
We will consider this as future enhancement.

Thanks for you reply. It would be good to have different options for contact synchronisation to limit the contacts on the phone to only "important" contacts. Maybe something like to give the user the possibility to mark a contact as "mobile contact" when a user wants the contact to be synced to his mobile....Maybe it would also be possible to allow the user to have an "online access" to all contacts in the database if realy needed...
