Bug Description

When I do a query like
http://www.openclipart.org/api/search?query=test&offset=0&limit=24&f=js
I dont get a json string back, but rather an xml format.
Is there a way / format to stil use the old cchost api and return data as a json string?

Hi Peter

I'm not an expert by any means, so it would be best answered by someone
else, but I would think that since OCAL is no longer using ccHost that the
api [probably] wouldn't work anymore as it used to?

We use Aiki now.
www.aikiframework.org.

That's the best answer I can give you, sorry. Bassel or one of the other
developers might be able to answer your question more clearly.

Depends on what "real" means.
I noticed this problem, since Pencil, a popular firefox
sketching plugin stopped to read and show embedded
clip-arts from openclipart.org.
Possibly there are more projects accessing openclipart
via json format (I dont know) because in today's php/js apps,
this is just quick and easy way to go.
Of sure, nothing would speak against the new xml driven api,
but for reasons like usability and compatibility it may be wise
to support old api, too and give api users the chance to alter
their codes in time.

Another thing is, that I can't find really good information on
how to use the new api and what its specification is. But maybe
my search was a bit awkward.
