Except for the fact that librarians and authors still need to see hidden
stuff, so that they can unhide/fix/reupload it.
Just permanantly hiding it from the search results/display and whatnot *does
not *fix the initial problem of :
*If you have the direct link, you can still see the "hidden" clipart.*
That is the thing that needs fixing.
