Bug Description
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
Screen resolution badly detected on FujitsuSiemens Amilo Pro V2010
Since 8.10 Ubuntu doesn't recognize resolution of the LCD. Correct resolution is 1024x768, but Ubuntu sets it by default to 1600x1200 which causes that large part of screen is not visible. Especially logging in is much more difficult.

Description of problem:
On GDM screen and in GNOME laptop has wrong resolution detected (see the
attachement). After setting resolution in "System /
Preferences / Hardware / Screen Resolution" then in Gnome after login I see the
correct resolution but still on each GDM I see that the correct resolution is
not detected (look at the attachement).
