openastro won't launch

Bug Description

Hey
downloaded and installed the app and it worked fine. now it won't launch, the cursor just spins for a few seconds and then nothing.
I am running hardy 8.04.

Thanks for your report, could you try the following and post the results:

run the program from a terminal by typing:

/usr/bin/openastro.py

What version are you using? (A link might have changed due to an update, try running the program from Applications->Graphics)

Could you post the result of running in debug mode:

/usr/bin/openastro.py --debug

Hi, I tried opening in terminal and from graphics with no result.
here is the result from debug:
 /usr/bin/openastro.py --debug

Could you try removing your openastro configuration and running the program again?

You can remove the configuration by running this in a terminal:

rm ~/.openastro.org/astrodb.sql

Also, do you have the latest version installed?

This problem should be resolved now with the latest versions of Ubuntu and OpenAstro.
