Bug Description

While creating and updating entities, non-ascii chars are not persisted correctly. A questionmark is placed instead

Probably a hibernate UTF8 configuration issue. Can be reproduced with both Postgres and HSQL.

It turned out to be non-utf8 charset used to convert a string into a HTTP StringEntity
