RFE: Word prediction

This is a feature wish

I figured out my favourite keyboard size and position, but sometimes the keyboard covers the input field. It would be helpfull to display the entered text in a line above the keyboard.

It will be also helpful to have text suggestions and auto completion like the Android keyboard. I think it should be possible to use aspell or hunspell for that.

Releasing word prediction was in the pipeline for a quite some time. It might finally arrive in the next release, we'll see.

Word completion and prediction should work ("Full Keyboard" only) and the line of text you mentioned it there too. It's very unpolished and outdated though and it's way too early to file bugs on it too.

Resetting status, there was no time for wp recently. Will hopefully pick it up again soon.

We do finally have word suggestions in trunk. This includes word completion, word prediction and spell checking with hunspell. There won't be a separate text entry line in the next release, though, so I'll leave this bug report open.
