onboard incompatible with option “disable touchpad while typing”

Bug Description
When having enabled the option “disable touchpad while typing” in the Mouse and Touchpad settings, this interferes with onboard. When clicking on a key of onboard, it sometimes holds this key for a few seconds, resulting in the same character being typed many times.
I guess that this stems from the touchpad being disabled as soon as a keyboard event is noticed, resulting in the mouse button release event not being fired any more.
Maybe onboard should automatically disable this setting when being launched.

We should think about disabling this option. I saw the long presses myself today and It's not obvious at all what is responsible for them.
