When using onboard with the Personal Edition of the XML Editor of XMLmind (it can be downloaded from http://
I wonder whether this is a problem specific to the XML Editor of XMLmind or a more general problem of applications using java.

Confirmed with Onboard trunk (future 0.97). Backspace and delete are ignored when editing inside the displayed xml-document. They do work though when editing properties in the side bar, that's why I believe this isn't a general problem with java.
