Bug Description
Hello,
I had this bug for years.
When you type on Geany with onboard you get suggestions but when you click on one the caret just jump ahead some number of characters sometime it erase some.
I've had this on ubuntu and arch.
The same thing happen in SciTE editor , I would guess its something related to SCIntilla.

I have the same problem as trior. I have no idea what is causing it.
