This issue is dear to me so I'm reporting it at the risk of this bug being innappropriate.
The current scrolling speed is just ludicrously fast. Example video:

The user is barely moving his fingers and it's gliding away at a very fast speed. It should definitely be more mac-like in that there's a natural and smooth acceleration tied with the user's gestures. |

I'm unsure as to if this is xorg's issue or utouch since the implementation of smooth scrolling is now handled by utouch. |
