Bug Description

Hi ,

One of our client upgraded his system ( full intel from clevo ) from 16.04 to 18.04.

After that he cannot login from GDM (tried ubuntu/Unity/gnome-flashback)

However he can login from VT1 .

No "password incorrect" error is returned just looping back to gdm welcome screen.
