Kernel power management feature causing crashes

After 3 or days the server crashes. I've tracked it down to the power management features that keeps spawning up to 60 kworker events. It appears the /sys/module/workqueue/parameters/power_efficient kernel parameter is set to yes and I'm running a Odroid N2 aarch64 box. Power management is not required.

I've previously had Ubuntu running for over a year with no problems but changed to a server kernel by Hardkernel and in this version the power_efficient parameter is Y rather than the previous N.
