2015-03-30 23:24:12 Mikkel Paulson description When given a long password (threshold is somewhere between 27 and 32 characters), the Windows agent instead sends a blank password in the HTTP header. I believe that the configuration parser is truncating the encrypted password string in the config file, rendering it unintelligible and returning an empty string. This does not affect the Linux agent. A full description of my help request and troubleshooting results can be found here: http://ask.ocsinventory-ng.org/1983/agent-not-sending-password-to-server When given a long password (threshold is somewhere between 27 and 32 characters), the Windows agent instead sends a blank password in the HTTP header. I believe that the configuration parser is truncating the encrypted password string in the config file, rendering it unintelligible and causing the decryption algorithm to return an empty result.
