ERROR: MySQL for PHP is not properly installed

Bug Description

After install of ocsinventory-server and ocsinventory-reports, i have in my navigator (http://host/ocsreports)

"ERROR: MySQL for PHP is not properly installed Try to installing MySQL for php package (Debian: php5-mysql)"

All dependencies are installed, but php5-mysql not exist in Ubuntu 16.04

No errors logged.

I am have the same issue. I get an error

"OCS-NG Inventory Installation

ERROR: MySQL for PHP is not properly installed.
Try installing MySQL for php package (Debian: php5-mysql)"

Instead, you can use 'apt-get install php-mysql'

Unfortunately that doesn't work. The problem seems to be that OCS Inventory relies on the 'mysql_connect' command that was deprecated in PHP5.5 and is removed in the current version (i.e. php-mysql). Right now, unless anyone has better ideas, the options are either downgrading PHP or persuading the OCS developers to move to a newer PHP MySQL extension.
