Bug Description

I have an XHTML file that starts:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
  <head profile="http://www.w3.org/2005/10/profile">

but nXhtml says, when I type nxml-complete:

There is currently no DTD specified for the buffer.

If I press 'y' to "add a fictive XHTML validation header" then I get another error "No alternative found."

Hence, I can't get completion working.
