nxhtml-mode breaks geben

The debugging features of geben seem to be broken when nxhtml-mode is enabled on the buffer. Pressing debugger keys such as 'o' (geben-step-over) seem to want to edit the buffer (which is read only, because it is under the debugger).

I confirm, evaluate (put 'geben-mode 'permanent-local t) does not fix the problem.

In my case, the bug occurs only with mixed PHP/HTML files that starts with HTML code. For example : a blank line before the opening PHP tag '<?php'.
