firefox, thunderbird, lo interface corruption on GTX 750 TI

Bug Description
I am using Ubuntu 14.04 with nvidia 340.24 driver from xorg-edgers ppa repository. However, i am having issues with interface corruption in firefox, thunderbird, libreoffice and even if i press Super+W and choose one of opened window it gets black.
In a firefox, thunderbird i have turned off hardware acceleration and smooth scrolling but issue still persists. I.e. in a firefox whenever i open a new tab it displays blinking squares from a previous opened website.
Is there any fixes for this? I've tried 334.21 and 340.24 drivers so far. Same behavior.
I am using GTX 750 Ti videocard.
