Bug Description

Whenever an application is launched (any, with a GUI, not a commandline tool) and quit afterwards, the application seems to close but actually just goes to the background and consumes 100% CPU

You reported it against Unity, have you tried to start compiz in Unity-2d session and checked if the same happens there as well?

Ok, i was wrong, it's less apperant now, but it still happens, i will try it with unity-2d as soon as I can.
It's not just windows, it also happens when you close a tab in chrome.
