GeForce 9800GT only nomodeset

My computer must be installed in nomodeset,if not the screen is black.After install is finish I have to boot in nomodeset to avoid blackscreen.If I install the current driver and reboot, the screen turns black no matter if it's in nomodeset or in quiet splash and the fan on 9800GT speeds up.Then I must boot in Failsafex, but then the driver isn't enabled and it's still in nomodeset.Is it possible to avoid the nomodeset and at least use the quiet splash with or without the driver enabled.
