Bug Description

Affected Package: nvidia-current (304.88) for ubuntu precise (12.04 x64)

The package does not contain symlinks for libnvidia-opencl.so.304.88. I would expect at least four symlinks:
/usr/lib/nvidia-current/libnvidia-opencl.so.1
/usr/lib/nvidia-current/libnvidia-opencl.so
/usr/lib32/nvidia-current/libnvidia-opencl.so
/usr/lib32/nvidia-current/libnvidia-opencl.so.1

Additionally, a symlink from /etc/OpenCL/vendors/nvidia.icd to /usr/share/nvidia-current/nvidia.icd is missing. This file references the libnvidia-opencl.so.1 mentioned above.

Interesting (and annoying) detail: While the package does not install an symlink to nvidia.icd, it deletes it during uninstall/upgrade. Can someone please make this simply work without manual interaction every time?

Currently active workaround: Creating a nvidia.icd manually with content "libnvidia-opencl.so.304.88"
