2013-03-23 20:40:55 Vasco Alexandre da Silva Costa summary OpenCL headers for more recent drivers devpacks are version 1.0, while old drivers devpacks are version 1.1 OpenCL headers in nvidia-current-updates-dev are version 1.0, while older headers in nvidia-current-dev headers are version 1.1
2013-03-23 20:41:17 Vasco Alexandre da Silva Costa description Check the headers... It is damn near impossible NVIDIA regressed on OpenCL support. Yet if you look at the nvidia-current-dev vs nvidia-current-recent-dev packages the "recent" drivers have CL/cl.h header version 1.0. Please fix. For whatever reason Wikipedia claims my card supports OpenCL 1.2 but that is probably a myth. Probably need to check the NVIDIA binaries to see if the symbols are correct or not. Somehow. OpenCL 1.1 is definitively supported as the nvidia-current drivers clearly demonstrate.
