Hello All,
The latest nVidia Proprietary Driver (304.84 as of 2013-03-
What should happen:
-- When performing a keyboard [Ctrl + Alt + F1..F6], I should see a login prompt or shell command prompt, depending on the state of the selected TTY.
What actually happens:
-- When performing a keyboard [Ctrl + Alt + F1..F6], all I see is a blank black screen. In addition, my monitor's status indicator lamp begins blinking, indicating that the monitor has lost signal, and has therefore entered a "sleep" state.
Here are my system software/operating system specifications:
-- Release: Ubuntu 12.04.1 Precise LTS AMD64
-- Kernel Version: 3.2.0-38-generic (3.2.0-38.61)
-- X11 Server Version: 7.6+12ubuntu2 (from X-Swat PPA)
-- nVidia Proprietary Driver version: 304.84 (from X-Swat PPA)
Here are my system hardware specifications:

-- Video Card: nVidia GTX450

could you maybe be more specific? for example, does it only happen on this kernel? do you have a gtx450 or a gtx450m?
