Bug Description
When I initially installed Ubuntu on my system, it was fine. I simply had to startup and add the newest Nvidia drivers and have nvidia create my xorg.conf. Suddenly, after a few restarts, my system failed to boot into Unity. I get a warning telling me I am in low graphics mode and asking what I wish to do. If I startx from my shell, I still have a wallpaper, and can use my terminal command hotkey (though none others work). Utilizing this method, I can "unity --replace" which, after the second attempt, will spawn unity for me. However, the first attempt always throws this error:

Obviously I don't want to go through the process of replacing Unity everytime, but I don't wish to re-install again just yet. I may try fixing but a reinstall and reconfig of xorg.conf has got me no further ahead, so Im back to square one.
Thank you for Ubuntu,
Aaron Cleary
do you have an optimus hybrid graphcis notebook? since optimus doesnt support linux.
