window content missing (transparent) after window switch

Bug Description

Sometimes upon restoring a minimized window the content is missing. I am using the nvidia drivers from nvidia-current-updates package, Ubuntu 12.10 kernel version 3.5.0-22-generic, unity version 6.12.0. At present the nvidia-current-updates package appears to provide nvidia driver version 304.51 according to the nvidia-settings program. The video card in the machine which is affected by this behavior is an 8800GT card.

Steps to reproduce consistently:
1) Open two terminal windows.
2) Minimize one of the terminal windows
3) Restore the minimized window by using the Alt-` key sequence to switch between open windows of a program
