A few users reported that Google Play Music hangs in Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr. However, I haven't managed to reproduce this issue in a clean Ubuntu 14.04 installation in VirtualBox, so it's necessary to get more feedback and testing from users.

1) Prepare reference environment
Install Nuvola Player from Unstable builds PPA.
Instructions: http://nuvolaplayer.fenryxo.cz/help/installation.html#ubuntu
Open Google Play Music in Firefox, Chromium or Chrome. Not in GNOME Web (Epiphany) or Midori.
Address: https://play.google.com/music
Click gear icon at the top right corner, click "Labs" menu item to open Labs settings and turn off
all features. Note: If you have Chromecast enabled, you have to use Chromium or Chrome browser
to disable it.
Open terminal window and type following command. This will temporarily disable all web plugins.
sudo mv /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins /usr/lib/mozilla/disabled-plugins
2) WebKitGtk test
Run webkitgtkframe tool in terminal and report whether the issue is reproducible.
