I would like the ability to run Grooveshark and Google Music side by side; obviously I wouldn't intend to play songs from each simultaneously, but it would be nice to be able to keep one window open while I play a song in another.

This implies desktop integration; I wouldn't have both windows open at the same time, I am sure, but it would be nice to be able to access both music players from the music menu without needing to go into the program, exit google music, and sign into grooveshark. I would like to be able to maintain playlists in both simultaneously rather than having to wipe one just to visit the other.

Since development of Nuvola Player has been discontinued [1], I'm closing the bug tracker. It will be reopened when a new maintainer is found. I'm sorry I wasn't able to address this issue.
