Bug Description

I am running the latest Ubuntu distro in a VM on my Mac. I installed nutty and the program runs but it fails to find any of the other devices on my network. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your interest in Nutty. Nutty uses NMap to find devices on the network.
Can you please run Nutty from the command line in debug mode and pipe the output to a file which you can attach here:
com.github.babluboy.nutty --debug > ~/nutty.txt

When you click on devices and choose the network, it will be interesting to see the debug output.

This was the output I received:

Thanks. One thing that I can see from your debug is that you are not running the latest version of Nutty(0.9), so do grab the latest version (1.0) from the PPA. Install instructions here:
https://babluboy.github.io/nutty/#install

Also did you get the get the Nutty.txt file in your home folder? Please attach it after you have rum nutty and searched for a device by selecting a connection and providing your log in password on the prompt.

Siddharta,

Thanks. I like your name, by the way. One of the names of the
Compassionate Buddha. Also the title of one of my favorite books by
Hermann Hesse.

At any rate, I did an uninstall and a fresh reinstall per the instructions
on the website and now everything is working great.

Thanks for the update and good to know it works fine now.
Would be interesting to see if auto discovery of devices works ... probably try removing a device (by right click and click remove on the context menu) and see if it is added back after some some automatically and you get a notification as well.
