Bug Description
After having used Google Chrome for a few hours the icon in the Gnome-Shell launcher turns into a monochrome icon. It does not happen when I use default icons or other icon themes. See screenshot here:

For me the icon is always the monochrome icon since some time ago. I assumed this was just an update that I didn't like. I would very much like the more colorful icon back.
