Bug Description

When a Mobile Broadband connection get disconnected (pppd stopped either due to a connection error or the issues discussed here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10843659#post10843659) the Broadband connection get stuck in "Offline". Is this bug related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ntrack/+bug/770390?

The workaround is to remove the mobile broadband device and plug it again.

Please do. Or if you can create a ppa package with debugging enabled I can help debug this issue.

ok. if you are on oneiric can you try enabling my sandbox ppa:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:asac/sanbox
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install ntrack-module-rtnetlink-0
sudo apt-get purge ntrack-module-libnl-0

and remember to remove the ppa file again at the end:

sudo rm -f /etc/apt/sources.list.d/asac-sandbox-*.list
sudo apt-get update

let me know if that helped after restarting things.
