Bug Description

Binary package hint: network-manager

primary route changes can currently not easily be detected by applications.

Current way of doing this is tracking all interfaces individually through dbus and depending on their individual state changes guessing whether the primary route changed a new device got connected or one of multiple connected devices becomes disconnected/disabled.

ntrack already provides this feature; once its in a releasable state we hsould consider switching apps there.
