Thank you for your attention. I still haven't decided what I want to do with this but I believe my problem is related to a faulty installation, The results are ugly. When I attempted to use your software to mount my drives it sent an Exit error 1 message, I allowed this information to be sent off for a follow-up. I noted a comment saying my software Zorinuspect. package was an unofficial version (very unlikely since it was downloaded from the Zorin website) and was therefore somehow suspect in the error. The report also suggested that I should now uninstall all 3rd-party software. Are they crazy? All of my software was installed directly from the software library that is installed with the Zorin installion. I am thinking that this one of those ugly things I've encountered in Windows in which one has to go registry skipping to removed now un-removeable entries which point to incompleted changes from software programs that attempt to modify settings in an unsuccessful way. The program couldn't complete it's primary task correctly, and it's unlikely that it is going to be able to recover my system in any manner more successfully. That is why I am thinking that whatever software I try to utilize, add or subtract at this point is not going to be able to fix a problem generated by another program that failed to complete it's task successfully. What I do think I need more than anything now at this point is a manner in which I can clean the errant entries added to my boot from your program when it failed to correctly complete it's designated task. If you have any suggestions in that area I might find that very helpful. As a newbie, I will say that annoying as this is, it's also a bit intriguing as it has shown my some ways it which Linux systems are so similar to Windows. :) I no longer feel like a stranger in a strange land. Thanks much for attention and time and I hope that you have an interesting day. Dan On 10/15/12, Florent Mertens -
