Reseller Confirmation
According to testimonial and screen shots I received from a currently active reseller made today, Comodo at least partly outsources validation of the domains to the resellers . According to the same source, Comodo makes only the slightest of effort in overseeing their activities. I've received more information suggesting the same, however I can't prove those allegations.
