nova console-log throws "Remote error: KeyError"

I'm running the newest Ubuntu packages of OpenStack Essex on a fully updated Ubuntu 12.04 server configured according to this tutorial: http://www.hastexo.com/resources/docs/installing-openstack-essex-4-ubuntu-1204-precise-pangolin/

If I try to get the console-log of a running VM, I get this error message instead:

root@vagrant-precise64:~# nova console-log testvm1
ERROR: The server has either erred or is incapable of performing the requested operation. (HTTP 500)

In nova-compute.log the following exception can be found:

ERROR nova.api.openstack [req-797286a1-3c9e-44e2-b775-a44f88651038 1dce189f34d54ce6aeb16ed765ca31f2 abea9905a33d41a99c319ed01f83335a] Caught error: Remote error: KeyError 'instance-00000001'

I'll attach the full logs including exception traces to this bug report.

We cannot solve the issue you reported without more information. Could you please provide the requested information ?

Hello,

I'm very sorry, the system where this bug was reproducible doesn't exist anymore - we reinstalled and reconfigured many times since then. As far as I know, we don't experience this issue anymore, so the bug could be closed as not reproducible.
