hyper-v nova compute go down with error Error writing vm console log file from serial console pipe. Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

During scale test , hyper-v compute go down , its shown as down in nova service-list .

Looks like nova-compute stops sending heartbeat to controller when it hits error "Error writing vm console log file from serial console pipe. Error: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '\\\\.\\pipe\\2aace779-3ed7-44eb-9c58-ba2ecf614fe2'

This only affects Liberty (and maybe Kilo). The issue is that we are logging from a different thread. This was fixed in os-win (used by the Hyper-V driver since Mitaka).

I'm sending a fix on Liberty. Thanks for reporting this!

Marked as duplicate of bug #1557498. This issue has already been solved in Mitaka in os-win. The fix should be backported to liberty as well.
