Changing a instance display name, for example, does not update the domain metadata in libvirt

What kind of metadata do you think should be stored? I'm not even sure if it's possible to change this metadata without rebooting a VM, at least via libvirt:

Speaking about libvirt once more (because that's what I'm familiar with), is there actually any value in changing the metadata from a cloud administrators perspective, i.e. our users?
