Bug Description
Joe Gordon pushed a proof of concept patch to see if the audit middleware code from oslo-incubator works in the gate by default and it failed tests:

From the discussion with Gordon Chung it sounds like the oslo.messaging change in oslo-incubator broke that a bit so something else needs to be worked out, possibly by making it work in oslo.messaging or working around it somehow with the pycadf library.
