floating ip bulk list doesn't return ids

nova floating-ip-bulk-list allows an admin to retrieve the list of floating ips, but they can't perform a delete on individual ips because the delete is keyed off of id and there is no way to determine the id of the ip address through the api

Once this is fixed the nova floating-ip-delete command can be modified to allow admins to delete ips from other tenants as in this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/python-novaclient/+bug/1272494

Adding the id to the floating ip bulk list sounds fine to me. At some point I'd like to freeze the V2 API for new features though and just point people to the V3 API instead (though since this is nova-network and not supported in the V3 API it makes it a bit trickier).

This is an old feature request (= "wishlist" bug report) which
wasn't able to draw enough attention for an implementation. Also,
the effort to implement this needs to be driven by a blueprint + spec
file. I'm closing it as "Opinion".

If you want to work on this, consider reading [1] and create a blueprint
at [2] and a spec-file at [3]. If you need assistance, reach out on the
IRC channel #openstack-nova or use the mailing list.
