I created a port, attached the interface to a VM, and then detached the interface from the VM.
I found that the port was deleted. I think the port should not be deleted when the interface is detached, if the port is created independently. The port is also deleted when the VM is destroyed. |
If a user creates a port, attaches the interface to a VM, and then detaches the interface from the VM, he/she then finds that the port is deleted. The same happens when the VM is destroyed.
It would be desirable to keep the port when the interface is detached/VM destroyed, if the port is created independently. |
