Ubuntu 12.10 Not Booting On Nvidia GPU

I am not able to boot Ubuntu 12.10 (alpha 1 or daily builds) on my main PC which have Nvidia chips - GTX 470 and GTX 275. After the Ubuntu boot screen the screen shows black and white stips and system doesn't boot.

The problem seems with Nouveau driver as if I Alt+Cltr+F1 and then install nvidia-current and then start GDM/LightDM, then I am able to boot into the system.

Can you follow the "Boot options" instructions on the following wiki to enable additional output on boot:

As mentioned on the wiki, it would be great if you can attach a log file which may have captured any messages you see. If you are unable to capture a log file, a digital photo will work just as well. As a last resort you can even copy messages down by hand.

Smae problem with my old GeForce FX 5600 on KDE. The issue only seems to occur with desktop environments requiring 3D drivers, as the lightdm login screen is finely displayed.

Confirmed the bug as it affects several users with different NVidia hardware. (Also seen on french Ubuntu forum) Note that with the NVidia blob the issue does not occur.
