Not validating

Bug Description

I click on the validate checkbox and hit submit. On the info page for the volunteer event, it shows it is validated. When I go to the person's list of log services, it shows it is unvalidated:

Changed the key to a counter number instead of title, similiar titles with a space at the end of one were seen as the same in the URL.
