Bug Description

Jul 2 18:22:07 fileserver2 postfix/tlsmgr[1219]: [ID 947731 mail.crit] fatal: dict_open: unsupported dictionary type: btree: Is the postfix-btree package installed?

------------

Package installed: postfix_2.5.2-1nexenta4
OS version: 2.0 release - SunOS fileserver2 5.11 NexentaOS_20081207 i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris

The default installation of postfix creates these entries in /etc/postfix/main.cf:

smtpd_tls_session_cache_database = btree:${data_directory}/smtpd_scache
smtp_tls_session_cache_database = btree:${data_directory}/smtp_scache

When attempting to send mail through a telnet to localhost port 25, the top error message appears in /var/log/messages. It appears that support for this structure is not available in the current package.

Changing btree: to dbm: can help?

It works for me, I don't see the warnings anymore.
So a solution would be to provide dbm: instead of btree: in main.cf

I'll rebuild the package for this.

I can see Postfix 2.5.2-1nexenta6 in repos so it should be fixed.
