Bug Description
The title says it all; Run 'aptitude' after a clean install and press some keys. There is no interaction with the application.
Ctrl-C quits the process and all queued keystrokes are fed to the shell.
Forcibly downgrading ncurses eliminates the problem, but obviously causes dependency problems -- so the problem appears to be in ncurses or at least closely related to the library.
