Bug Description

I am not sure if this is a bug, but I would not expect this behavior (it doesn't happen on my Linux box). Only the first 11 characters are relevant on Nexenta (I am using ncp 2.0 alpha ) it also is the case for OpenSolaris 2008.05.

In any case I think it should be strengthened.

example:
create a user with the password: aa1234567890
then try to log in with the password aa123456789

support for up to 255 characters should be supported when you change your password storage scheme from __unix__ to something else. There is a good thread on this here: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=58533&tstart=-1

Please update us if this doesn't fix your problem.
