Bug Description

I'm attempting to run a NexentaCP 1.0.1test4 Dom0, following this guide:

   http://www.nexenta.org/os/NexentaXenDom0

and I get this on boot:

   3.0.4-1-xvm chgset 'Mon Nov 12 23:09:42 2007 -0800 13228:ed898008a4c9'
   SunOS Release 5.11 Version NexentaOS_20080312 64-bit
   Loading Nexenta...

   ffffffffbc6edd0 genunix:main+40 ()
   ffffffffbc6ede0 unix:_locore_start+80 ()

which led me to this thread:

   http://archive.netbsd.se/?ml=xen-discuss&a=2008-03&m=6706931

which points to this bug:

   http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/on/flag-days/pages/2008030301/

suggesting that Xen bits need updates.

This appears to still be the case with the NCP 2.x b104 release.

I assume this is with Beta1... Is this with InstallCD or after installation?

This is an upgraded installation to b104. "apt-get dist-upgrade" reports
nothing left to upgrade.

As an update, I downloaded the debian xen hypervisor packages
(xen-3.2-1) and tried the pae and non-pae versions on my system. Using
these newer hypervisors concluded with the same error. Also, I am
running on 32-bit hardware, not 64-bit as the original report was filed.

I just got an e-mail asking to make it clear which bugs are important for me for NCP2, so I figured I'd write a note here indicating that NCP needs to run as a xen DomU for me to be able to use it.
