nexenta system fails to boot under VM workstation 6

Bug Description

I finished a regular install with nexenta ISO image. When attempting to boot system after grub screen, no luck. Black screen...cannot progress further.

Can you paste the configuration of your virtual machine? Type, CPU count, Mem, disc type etc?

FYI there is a bug that makes opensolaris take about 4 minutes extra to boot up in vmware, with no error message displayed. See here: http://www.nexenta.com/corp/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=44&func=view&catid=6&id=128#128

I also run into this bug. Try to remove the CD-ROM from your virtual machine's config. Then it should boot faster.
