Allow assertThrows to pass varargs to callable, like assertRaises

Sometimes it can be convenient to pass arguments to the callable in assertThrows directly, instead of creating an anonymous inner function; this would match assertRaises in Python. Also, JSHint warns about creating functions inside loops.
