Bug Description

As per V2 API specification load balancer healthmonitor has a parameter "type" which can not be parsed by JSON parser.
So, it must be replaced by "healthmonitor_type" as per the OpenDayLight Bug- ( https://bugs.opendaylight.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1674 )

Further information related to lbaas healthmonitor can be found here:

I'm still unsure about this bug. do you mean the json library in python cannot parse it? I haven't seen any issue with it not being able to parse type. I've read the ODL bug and am still unsure. Could you elaborate on this further?

I can't understand why this issue occurs in LBaaS v2 API.
Health monitor in LBaaS v1 API also has "type" attribute and we have not heard any bug report so far.

Is it specific to some JSON parser which ODL project uses?
If so, it is not a neutron bug and should be fixed in ODL side.

Amandeep,

You change the status from Incomplete to In Progress.
Could you clarify what is the problem and how do you plan to fix?

We still need to know why it happens only for LBaaS v2 API and not for LBaaS v1 API.
Without the reasonable investigation, I don't think it is a bug of Neutron API.
Why this is a bug of neutron client? I am not sure.
