Bug Description

Right now detail pages are simply displayed immediately with a few bits of default information and then the various API requests are kicked off and the page information becomes populated as these requests are resolved. The problem with this approach is that these few bits of initial default information can be very misleading, and in many cases will be changed when the API request returns. This is not something we really want to show to the user. The other problem is that when there is an error with one of these API requests the page is left in some incomplete state, with information that is likely not completely accurate and most likely broken links.
